The International Workshop on Biometrics,Technology and Personalized Medicine
In conjunction with
The International Conference on Complex, Intelligent and
Software Intensive Systems (CISIS 2009)

The 2009 International Workshop on Biometrics, Technology and Personalized Medicine (BT 2009) provides an international forum that brings together those actively involved in areas of statistics, image processing and technology in the biosciences. Its objectives are to promote and extend the use of mathematical and engineering methods in the principal disciplines of biosciences by reporting on the development and application of these methods.
Contributions covering theoretical developments and practical
applications, including but not limited to the following technical areas, are
invited:
| Topics: |
- Personalized medical data collection
- Holter and continuous ambulatory data acquisition
- Mobile and pervasive sensing
- Biostatistics and time series of long recording at home
- Patient data clustering
(neural networks, hierarchical and non hierarchical classification
techniques)
- Supervised and unsupervised learning for automatic
profiling of dependent people at home
- Elderly people watching
- Home health information as component of the global
health information system
- Patient data bases
- Surveillance of chronic dideases with remote interpretation and alarm
triggering
- Medical data treatment in emergency vehicles
- Critical data and registration with reference case based reasoning
- At home images acquisition and remote matching with
reference atlas images
- Ontology of concepts in personalized
medicine
