On the occasion of new relocation of International Associated Laboratory "JRL" at LAAS, the Laboratory received a Japanese delegation from AIST, on November 14th, for the signature of new agreement concluded with the CNRS.

The LAAS welcomed one hundred people to celebrate this event that not only explored the summary of scientific research on humanoid robotics in Japan as well as France, but also raised a main line of strategy for the future research.

Especially, the JRL-France will acquire at the beginning of 2006 the platform "HRP-2" that is currently in Japan and equip the LAAS with a unique resource in Europe, the access to which will be widely opened to overall French research community.
