On an concept of semi-active automotive suspension of non integer order

Résumé On rappelle le principe général de la suspension automobile dite "semi-active'' ainsi que ses limitations intrinsèques. On montre ensuite que l'objectif avancé dans le cas d'une approche particulière* visant à l'obtention d'une transmittance non standard de type pseudo-differentiel (d'ordre non entier) débouche en fait sur un problème sans solution.

Abstract We recall the basic principle of semi-active automotive suspension, as well as its intrinsic limitations. We then show that the purpose of a specific approach* based on a non standard suspension transfer function of pseudodifferential type (with non integer order) in fact leads to a problem with no solution.
