The MIcro and NAno System (MINAS) area gathers 7 research groups (ISGE, MINC, MIS, M2D, MOST, NBS, Photonique) acting in the field of Micro/Nano Systems. The research activity covers all the aspects of development from modeling and design, through complete technological integration, to functional characterization. The main topical areas are:
- Microsystems modeling and simulation
- MEMS/NEMS and MOEMS
- RF-MEMS, Microwave / RF devices and systems
- Wireless sensors and actuators network
- Autonomous Microsystems and energy management
- Integrated/Smart Power Electronics for Embedded Systems
- Nanophotonics , Photonic integration
- Detection Microsystems
- BioMEMS and Nanobiosystems
- Micro and Nanofluidics
Technological development and manufacturing are operated in a 1500m2 clean room, supported by a staff of 26 engineers and technicians (TEAM).
Characterization of micro and nano-systems are performed in a 800m² instrumental platform where electronic, radio frequency, optical and bio-chemical characterizations can be addressed.
